SAWA is a volunteer educational and fundraising arm of The Salvation Army Greater Austin Area Command. SAWA initiatives enrich the lives of families at the Rathgeber Center by meeting them at their point of need through fundraisers and programs like Angel Tree, Easter-Basket making, Christmas celebration, and more. The ladies of the Auxiliary have a good time, work hard, and live by the mission of “Doing the Most Good”.

The membership year is one year.  All members will receive ongoing notifications of events, projects, activities, and opportunities to serve.

Membership Levels

  • New Member

    $150 one time fee

    Attend one orientation meeting

    Serve at one Salvation Army event

    Attend 50% of General Meetings (two out of four/year)

    Serve on one Committee

  • Active Member

    $150/year

    Serve at one Salvation Army event each year

    Attend 50% of General Meetings (two out of four/year)

    Serve on one Committee each year

  • Supporting Member

    $250/year

    Encouraged but not required to be involved in ongoing events and activities

    Will be included in SAWA information distributions
